“Sao Paulo’s SCIENCE TOYS are back with new single ‘Arrows’ and, be warned, it hits hard from the get-go. A wall of guitars comes flying out of nowhere powered by punchy drums that immediately puts me in the mood for Foo Fighters but there’s an 80s undertone that makes this feel different. The soaring rock vocals are dripping in sweat, whiskey and cigarette smoke and the whole experience just makes you want to cruise down to the Rainbow in LA to see if Lemmy’s ghost is hanging around for the night. Rock AND roll.”

“Sao Paolo trio Science Toys are unleashing their debut single and video upon the world and as debuts go this is pretty strong. Musically, ‘Hybrid’ is a slick slice of grunge-rock with stadium filling riffs and a swagger that suggests these guys really now their way around their instruments. The drums could topple buildings and the vocals have plenty of snarl about them just to put the icing on the rock’n’roll cake. The cherry on said cake, however, is the superb video which features all the lyrics carefully daubed across the body of human-cum-hologram woman and some furious camera work in the zoom department. Definitely ones to keep an ear out for if this is anything to go by.”
